OAKLAND RAIDERETTES SAIL ON THE NOA NOA...RSS
Hawaii recently hosted the Oakland Raiderettes aboard
our 'Noa Noa' catamaran. The seven beautiful women were
being photographed for their annual calendar. With these
Raiderettes on board, Captain Erik along with Jeff and
Todd were, to say the least, very happy sailors! A
documentary on the making of the calendar was filmed
during their visit and will air later this year. Stay
tuned for more information and how to get your 2005
Raiderette calendar.
LAVAMAN DUATHLON & TRIATHLON...Once again, Red
Sail Sports was pleased to help sponsor this year's
Lavaman events in April. The "Keiki" Duathlon was held
on the lagoon beach at the Hilton Wailoloa Village.
Children 6 and under did a 500- yard dash; 7 and older
participated in both a swim and run. All received
special medals, t-shirts with sponsor logos, and healthy
snacks. Our new Sales and Marketing Manager, Andrea
Hennings, finished her first Olympic distance triathlon
in 4 hours and 17 minutes! Andrea and her best friend
Marcia Allen, said "we stayed together the entire time.
I understand, Paul (our CFO) wants to come over next
year and do it"! Hey, how about a Red Sail Sports
triathlon team?
